Julie Saniter

Julie Saniter - Pharmacy Manager Julie Saniter
Our current feature pharmacist is Julie Saniter, pharmacy manager at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Julie grew up on a farm near Beaver Dam, graduating from Beaver DamHigh School. From there, she attended the University of Madison where she received her degree in pharmacy. While in college, she worked as a pharmacy technician at Harris Pharmacy in Waunakee, WI, just north of Madison. After graduation from UW Madison, she moved to Milwaukee, started her internship, and got married within a two week period (what’s life without a little stress, right?).

Julie completed her internship with Osco Drug in West Allis, WI, and after getting licensed continued on with Osco as a floater in the Milwaukee area. In 1998 she and her husband moved to Janesville, WI where she accepted a staff pharmacist position, and in 1999 became the pharmacy manager. In 2001 the family moved back to Beaver Dam and Julie came to work for Thrifty White as a staff pharmacist, becoming pharmacy manager in 2002. In January of 2004 Julie helped orchestrate the move into our new location inside Recheck’s Food Pride grocery store, where the business has continued to grow in spite of two new competitors in the Beaver Dam market since then. Julie says she enjoys being a part of a great team at store #48, and credits the dedicated staff with the growth and success of the store.

Julie is a member of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin graduate chapter of Kappa Psi. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and music. Julie plays alto and baritone saxophone in “The Little Big Band” where her husband is the drummer. The band plays for local corporate events, dances, fundraisers, etc. She also plays in the Beaver Dam Community Band and her church orchestra. On days off, Julie keeps busy by volunteering at Ashley’s elementary school and being “Mom Taxi.”

Julie, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and team effort in making Beaver Dam a successful store for our ESOP company. We truly do appreciate the efforts you expend.
